In Memory of Kelly Lefebvre
The NCJHL is deeply saddened to share the news of the passing of Kelly Lefebvre, a devoted volunteer and supporter of hockey in Vankleek Hill and throughout the league.
Kelly began her volunteer journey in 1994 with Vankleek Hill Minor Hockey, where she dedicated countless hours to her community and players. Her passion for community hockey continued in 2014, when she began assisting with Junior C hockey in Vankleek Hill, quickly becoming an important and respected part of the organization.
In 2024, Kelly brought her experience and commitment to the NCJHL as our Webmaster and Statistician, ensuring the league’s records, updates, and communications were maintained with accuracy and care. Her behind-the-scenes work strengthened the league and reflected her quiet dedication to the sport and its players.
Kelly’s warmth, generosity, and unwavering support left a lasting impression on everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. She was a friend, a mentor, and a cornerstone of our hockey community.
The NCJHL extends our deepest condolences to Kelly’s family, friends, and all who had the joy of working alongside her. Her presence will be profoundly missed, but her contributions and legacy will live on in the league and sport she gave so much to.
