Brittany McPhee leads the Rams to victory and another trip to the 4A State Championship Tournament. This time McPhee and her teammates expect a much different outcome. In the previous two years the Rams have finished third and just short of state championship glory, but now they have more experience, a senior Stanford Cardinal captain and a supporting cast that seems to score at will- not to mention stifling defense.
Against Edmonds-Woodway, Brittany had her way early, setting the tone with 13 points in the first 16 minutes of the game with eleven of those coming in the first quarter. The two time defending Gatorade Player of the Year proved to much for Woodway and her supporting cast packed a punch as well. This team looks like they are in mission mode and the mission is to destroy any team in the path of their ultimate goal...a state championship.
