Midwest Football Alliance 2014

Dear Midwest Football Alliance Fans,

Welcome to our 4th season of the Midwest Football Alliance which officially begins Saturday, May 3, 2014. We are excited about going into another season in the MFA as we continue to progress as one of the Top Tier Semi Pro Football Leagues in the Country. We would like to welcome our new members the 2013 UNFL Champions Quad City Wolfpack and first year team the Sioux City Stampede.

We come into season 4 with some serious momentum on the back of a convincing victory by the MFA All Stars over the GMFL Gateway Conference All Stars 51-12 in Kansas City, Mo last fall. 2013 was a banner season as each member made it through the entire season without forfeiting a game. This is a rare feat throughout many leagues across the country and a mark we are all very proud of. Last season the Des Moines Blaze were crowned the 2013 Semi Pro BCS National Champions marking the 2nd time (2011) they have accomplished this in the last 3 seasons.

The MFA has continued to recruit Championship level teams each year as we now have 5 teams that have either played for or won Championships in the past (Blaze, Sharks, Stallions, Titans and Wolfpack) with the Knights and Renegades boasting many players from previous championship contending team. The competition level of MFA games should reach new heights with the level of experience of the players and coaching staffs.

The MFA has provided an opportunity for countless young men to develop and seriously compete for roster spots on pro level teams and has been a solid outlet for guys who just want to prolong their football careers. But we as a league want to emphasis that we are not only about our teams and players. We are about family and community and encourage our teams to give back as much as possible as none of this is possible without the great support of our families and communities.

Thank you for your support of our teams
