"Good teams find ways to win" hopefully applies to the game that OP played at Thacher on Wednesday night.  OP lost the battle at the faceoff X in the 2nd half.  They lost the ground ball battle the entire game.  They got out hustled.  They allowed a man down goal with 3 seconds left in the game to send it to overtime.  Still they won.  Grant Pestano found the back of the net with a pass from Grant Consoletti 47 seconds into the overtime period to secure the victory.  Hopefully this reinforces the idea that they have to do more than just show up to win. 

We will find out next week when they face three 101 Coast league opponents in 5 days to finish out the season.  First up is a rematch with Malibu at home on Monday.  JV starts at 6:30 and Varsity is at 8:00.

Please note that with no school on Friday, practice for JV and Varsity will be 11:00-1:00.

If you want individual pictures taken, please show up at 4 pm on Wednesday at the field prior to the bus departure for Westlake.  This is also when any money for team or individual pictures need to be turned in with the order forms that were handed out tonight.
