OP overcame a lethargic start and an athletic and aggressive Palisades Charter team to down the Dolphins 12-9 in the first round of the CIF Southern Section playoffs.  Freshman goalie Shane Bracken picked a great time to have his game of the year in the cage and the Eagle attack came alive in the 3rd quarter, scoring 7 goals to lead OP to victory in their first home playoff game.

OP will play #2 Palos Verdes who defeated #7 Cate on Wednesday 21-7.  OP will travel to Palos Verdes for a 2 PM contest on Saturday.

Two other 101 Coast League teams were in action on Tuesday.  #5 Agoura upset #4 Harvard-Westlake in a thriller 11-10 and #1 Mira Costa defeated #8 Westlake 15-3.
