Hill and Shields Sign with Four-Year Colleges

Sophomores Ryan Hill and Kyle Shields have commited to play baseball at four year schools for the upcoming 2013-14 year.

 

Center fielder, Ryan Hill, from Shallotte, NC, and former West Brunswick High School player has commited to play baseball for the Aggies of North Carolina A&T State University in Greensboro, NC. Hill was also named First Team All-Region by the NJCAA at the end of season play this spring. Ryan graduated in May from BCC with an Associate in Science degree and plans to continue studying for a future career in radiology. He is the son of Brenda Hazel and Charles Hill.

 

Kyle Shields, who pitched for the Dolphins, will play baseball for the Eagles of North Carolina Central University in Durham. North Carolina Central is a member of Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference. Shields earned his Associate in Arts degree at BCC. A graduate of Southern Nash High School, in Bailey, NC, Kyle plans to continue his studies in history education. He is the son of Christine and Stan Shields.
