I.S. 8 17U SUMMER CLASSIC CHAMPIONSHIP 2006
The N.Y.C. Finest 17U squad had a great run at the I.S. 8 17U Summer Classic 2006 going 4-0 in pool play beating Team Underrated "A", Anessas Sports, Starrett City and Team Phoenix, as well as defeating Team Odom in the semis. It was a great run and a close match in the finals vs LI Lightning, who took the final match 69-70. The N.Y.C. Finest 17u was composed by Chris Abney, Akeem brightman, Darwyn Lynch, James Southerland, Maurice Hughley, Trinity Fields, Corey Porter, Zuwa Edebor, Carlos Solano & Tyshawn Good, as well as a great job done by Coach Tyrone Hester leading them to the Championship.
