Bolivia, NC - Charleston Southern University and former Brunswick Community College pitcher Tory Schroff, has been named the Crons Brand Big South Conference Pitcher of the Week for the opening weekend of the 2014 season, as announced by the Big South Conference on Monday. Schroff, a senior at Charleston Southern, and a 2012 BCC graduate, from Mt. Laurel, New Jersey, struck out eight batters in six innings pitched to secure a 2-0 win over Villanova on February 15.  Last season, Schroff was a second team All-Big South selection with a 6-5 record and a 3.52 ERA.
