Bolivia, NC - BCC Baseball split a pair of games over the weekend at Francis Marion University. On Saturday, the Dolphins beat Florence Darlington Tech 6-0, and on Sunday lost to Cecil Community College 2-4. BCC was originally scheduled to play USC Lancaster on Saturday and Muskegon Community College on Sunday, but due to inclement weather, those games were cancelled.
On Saturday against Florence Darlington, Alex Ministeri pitched a shutout, allowing no runs on seven hits and striking out two. Five runs came in the sixth inning for the Dolphins. On Sunday against Cecil Community College, of North East, MD, the Dolphins had the lead early, but couldn't hold on. The Dolphins will return to Founder's Field this weekend March 1st and 2nd to play Patrick Henry, after another road trip to Myrtle Beach on Thursday. Saturday's double header will start at noon, and Sunday's first pitch will be at noon also.
