Spring Valley is off to to a 2-0 start after turning back a late Lower Richland last week for a 35-32 win.

The Vikings’ Paul Stokes, in his second year starting for coach Robin Bacon’s squad, is a hard-hitting, tough-as-nails inside linebacker who was in on 11 tackles and had a QB pressure in the win over the Diamond-Hornets.

Stokes will be depended on to help slow down an explosive Richland Northeast running game when SV hosts their rivals Saturday at 2:00 p.m. at Harry Parone Stadium.
