Vikings 41 George McDougall 0

The Vikings Football Team started the season right as they travelled to Airdrie to take on the Tier 2 George McDougall Mustangs in an early season exhibition contest.  The team dominated from the beginning with the defense holding strong overpowering and stimying a Mustang attack creating numerous 3 and outs and forcing 2 safeties.  The Vikings offense rolled with Connor Stock scoring a rushing and reception touchdown in his first high school game.  Creed Willette rumbled for 136 yards and a TD on 12 carries, Kaden Wagner made a spectacular catch in the endzone for a major, and Connor Neufeld went 11/20 passing for 190 yards and two TDs while rushing for one of his own.  Numerous recievers contributed with eight different targets and no drops.  Carter Bray led the team with 3 receptions for 81 yards.  Overall, a great team effort with a lot of young guys getting into the game and gaining some great experience.
