The Dirtbags return to Austin MN, to compete in the SPAMtown tournament which is compiled of top teams from MN area. The Dirtbags left 1-2 last year, many think the team should have been 3-0 but thats how baseball works I guess. BUT! the Dirtbags made a statement last night winning the game 5-0. That might not seem like alot, but it was the pitching performance and the constant great at bats. Kevin Mampe throws a 7 inning shutout while striking out 5. Kevin was in a groove at the very start and never allowed the Royals to get comfortable at the plate. Kevin also helped himself with a RBI double and scoreing within the next at bat or two.

         Mike Quiram and Joey Anderson had great days on the infield getting to anything hit remotly close to them. and Josh Krueger came up with a big catch while on the run deep in the RF/CF gap. Dirtbags will return to action today at 4pm VS Kewaskum A's from Wisconsin.
