Class C Junior American Legion State Baseball Tournament at Tri County

Tri County Legion Baseball is set to host the 2016 Class C Junior American Legion State Baseball Tournament.  The seven Class C District Baseball winners and the Host team Tri County will begin the double elimination tournament on Saturday, July 16th and will run through Wednesday, July 20th

First round action on July 16th will be the Area 1 District Winner Atkinson versus the Area 6 District Winner Sutton at 11:00 am, the Area 2 District Winner Shelby -Osceola-Stromsburg will then play the Area 5 District Winner Wilber at 2:00 pm, the Area 4 Champion Louisville-Weeping Water will then face off with the Area 7 Champion Wood River at 5:00 pm and the first day of State Tournament action will end with the Host Junior American Legion Team Tri County versus the Area 3 District Champion West Point at 8:00 pm.  The complete bracket with dates, times and tournament updates can be viewed by going to www.tricountylegionbaseball.com.  You can also follow the game updates and box scores at http://scores.nelegionbaseball.net.
