Championship Day didn't start off great with a bunch of late arrivals, but the Manchester IronPigs finished off a perfect Fall Season to repeat as champions. The 'Pigs bested the Portsmouth Padres for the second second straight season with a 4-0 victory.
The big story was that Cesar Reyes pitched a no-hitter, striking out 6 batters.
Nick Mirabello paced the offense from the lead off spot with 2 doubles, while Omar Ortiz drove in 2 runs. Ari Alexenberg and his reserve, Alex Severino, drove in the other two runs.
