4/23/2012

The Eagle JV squad avenged their only loss of the season with a 4-3 victory over Agoura.  Agoura scored first and held a 0-1 lead at half time.  Sam Sklar tied the game at 1-1 in the 3rd quarter.  Agoura scored again and move ahead 1-2 at the end of 3rd quarter.  A three goal streak -- Patrick Lasure, Taylor Bray, and Evan Saravis -- put the Eagles ahead 4-2.  The Chargers did not give up however.  They scored once more, and only a beautiful save by Goalie Keldan Doheney prevented the game from heading into overtime.  In addition to his goal, Evan Saravis had an assist, as did Owen Consoletti.

The Eagle varsity team lost to the Agoura Chargers by the score ot 2-9.  Eagle play was extremely erratic on both offense

and defense which led to the most one-sided loss of the season.   Ryan Helfand and Alex Wenker each scored a goal.  Griffin Hughes and Kennedy Brooks each contributed an assist.

The next game for the Eagles is at Westlake High School on Wednesday (April 25).
