2019 Tryout Information - UPDATED

Players,

 

Please read on for information about trying out for NTHS Baseball in 2019. Note there are documents and forms that need to be complete in order for you to be eligible to tryout. Both new & returning players must complete the entire list.

   

  • The first day of tryouts are on the February 23th, and will be continued on the following Monday. Check the schedule regularly for time / location as we are hoping for good enough weather for a Tahoe Vista tryout.
  • If you are unable to attend the first day of tryouts, you must let me know by February 15th or run the risk of being considered a "no-call no-show" for tryouts. If this occurs, you will not be allowed at the tryout continuation on Monday the 25th and will not be playing baseball for NTHS in 2019. If you are not on the list of prior commitments below, you need to e-mail or call me.
  • Prior to tryouts, you must complete:
    • Online Registration (look for Registration in the top menu)
    • Guidelines Packet (look for forms in the top menu) and return a signed copy to me.
    • Register My Athlete Requirements

 

Players must have these items completed prior to be allowed to tryout in 2019.

  • Additional Notes:
    • Players are required to carry a minimum 2.5 GPA in order to be eligible to tryout and compete.
    • Fundraising is mandatory. Our primary fundraiser is selling vouchers for Reno Aces tickets. The tickets are vastly improved over prior years.

  • Optional Open Field Practices are starting February 4th. See the online schedule to dates, times and locations.
