Calvary Chapel Eagles Varsity Defeats Orange In Pitcher's Duel

Both teams were strong on the mound Friday, but Calvary Chapel defeated Orange 3-1. Charlie Pierce allowed just three hits to Orange. Pierce pitched Calvary Chapel Eagles Varsity to victory. He went seven innings, allowing one run on three hits, striking out eight and walking one.

#25 was on the hill for Orange. He lasted five and a third innings, allowing eight hits and three runs while striking out three and walking zero. #15 threw one and two-thirds innings out of the bullpen.

Calvary Chapel racked up nine hits in the game. Sean Riley and Jonathan Brown each racked up multiple hits for Calvary Chapel Eagles Varsity. Brown and Riley all had two hits to lead the Eagles.
