Incline Captures Lead Early To Defeat North Tahoe Lakers Varsity

North Tahoe Lakers Varsity watched the game slip away early and couldn't recover in a 19-0 loss to Incline on Tuesday. Incline took the lead on a sacrifice fly in the first inning.

 

The North Tahoe Lakers Varsity struggled to put runs on the board and had a tough time defensively containing Incline, giving up 19 runs.

 

Incline fired up the offense in the first inning, when Zach Poalillo's sac fly scored one run for Incline.

 

One bright spot for North Tahoe Lakers Varsity was a single by Danny Sandoval in the second inning.

 

Trent Green took the win for Incline. He surrendered zero runs on four hits over three innings, striking out two and walking one. Jake Harrell threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen.

 

Tanner Wilkins took the loss for North Tahoe Lakers Varsity. He went four innings, allowing eight runs on nine hits and striking out one.

 

Chase MacDonald started the game for Incline. He surrendered zero runs on zero hits over one inning, striking out one

 

Jaxon Pokorny led North Tahoe Lakers Varsity with two hits in two at bats.

 

Incline saw the ball well today, racking up 13 hits in the game. Jacob LeoncioJacob CollinsHarrell, and Dalton Fry each racked up multiple hits for Incline. Leoncio went 3-for-3 at the plate to lead Incline in hits. Garen Cross led Incline with two stolen bases, as they ran wild on the base paths with seven stolen bases.
