While the end of our season did not turn out how we were hoping, I have positive news to share. Today while we were playing our final games with White Pine, the remaining league coaches had a meeting to vote on All-League Awards.

Our senior class made a tremendous showing. Both Sam Sheridan and Danny Sandoval were named as All-League Honorable Mention, and Xander Kriston was named to the Second Team All-League for Northern Nevada 2A. Lastly, Koby Mattson was named MVP of the League after his tremendous season on both sides of the ball. For those not yet aware, Koby led the league, and state, in most offensive categories at the 2A level. All-State awards will be announced at the completion of the Nevada 2A State Tournament in two weeks.

It was truly a pleasure and privilege to work with these players, as they pushed through adversity this year to excel. Congrats to our seniors!
