ANDREW ROLLINS

PLAYER OF THE WEEK:

For the second week in a row the Yankees player of the week award goes to catcher Andrew Rollins. As Rollins prepares himself to make a return to college baseball he has yet another impressive day going 2-2 at the plate with a BB, 3B, solo HR and 4 RBI’s. Rollins also crossed the plate himself 3 times and personally accounted for 7 of the 10 Yankee runs in their Sunday victory over the Heat. Rollins also put on a clinic behind the dish and continues to prove that he is both an offensive and defensive catcher. This weeks Yankee of the Week goes to Andrew Rollins.

STANDOUT PERFORMANCE:

This weeks standout performance goes to Eric Hare. Hare got the start in today’s game taking the bump for the first time in a couple weeks and showed little to no signs of rust. Hare worked 3.1 innings, giving up just 1 hit and striking out 4 opponents. Hare’s performance allowed him to pick up his first win of the season. This weeks standout performance goes to Eric Hare.
