Two Chattanooga Baseball Club Pitchers Rally Together In Shutout Victory Against Chattanooga Heat

Chattanooga Baseball Club defeated Chattanooga Heat 27-0 on Sunday as two pitchers combined to throw a shutout. JOSH MARSHALL induced a groundout from William Collinsto finish off the game.

Chattanooga Baseball Club was boosted by DIEGO IBARRA who went 4-for-5 at the plate. IBARRA singled in the first, singled in the first, singled in the second, singled in the second, and singled in the third.

Chattanooga Baseball Club got on the board in the first inning when IBARRA singled on a 3-2 count, scoring one run.

Chattanooga Baseball Club tallied 16 runs in the second inning. The offensive onslaught by Chattanooga Baseball Club was led by DYLAN HENDRICKS, JUSTIN CARTER, BRANDON BUCK, IBARRA, TYLER HISEY, and  ROBERT GABRIEL, who all drove in runs.

A single by Kevin Cosper in the first inning was a positive for Chattanooga Heat.

CARTER was the winning pitcher for Chattanooga Baseball Club. The southpaw surrendered zero runs on one hit over two innings, striking out three and walking zero.  MARSHALL threw two innings in relief out of the bullpen.

Spenser Chartrand took the loss for Chattanooga Heat. The bulldog surrendered ten runs on ten hits over one and two-thirds innings, striking out two.

Josh Brummitt started the game for Chattanooga Heat. The pitcher surrendered eight runs on two hits over one-third of an inning, striking out one

Chattanooga Baseball Club hit two home runs on the day. HENDRICKS had a dinger in the second inning. HISEY had a homer in the second inning.

Chattanooga Baseball Club totaled 17 hits.  IBARRA, JUSTUS CLEVERLEY, CARTER, MARSHALL, and HISEY all managed multiple hits for Chattanooga Baseball Club.  IBARRAwent 4-for-5 at the plate to lead Chattanooga Baseball Club in hits.

Cosper led Chattanooga Heat with two hits in two at bats.
