Three CBC Pitchers Rally Together To Shutout Colt .45’S

Chattanooga Baseball Club defeated Colt .45’s 11-0 on Sunday as three pitchers combined to throw a shutout. TYLER BAKER struck out Parker Jones to finish off the game.

Chattanooga Baseball Club fired up the offense in the first inning, when Walker Norrisinduced DIEGO IBARRA to hit into a fielder's choice, but one run scored.

Chattanooga Baseball Club scored five runs in the second inning. BRANDON BUCK, IBARRA, and TANNER HILL each had RBIs in the big inning.

A single by Jacob O’Grady in the second inning was a positive for Colt .45’s.

JOSHUA MCNABB took the win for Chattanooga Baseball Club. MCNABB went three innings, allowing zero runs on one hit, striking out seven and walking one. BAKER and JUSTUS CLEVERLEY entered the game out of the bullpen and helped to close out the game in relief.

Norris took the loss for Colt .45’s. Norris lasted five innings, allowing 11 hits and 11 runs while striking out eight.

Chattanooga Baseball Club hit one home run on the day. HILL had a four bagger in the second inning.

Chattanooga Baseball Club tallied 11 hits in the game. ADAM HAMLIN, BUCK, and IBARRAeach had multiple hits for Chattanooga Baseball Club. IBARRA, BUCK, and HAMLIN each collected two hits to lead Chattanooga Baseball Club. Chattanooga Baseball Club didn't commit a single error in the field. DYLAN HENDRICKS had seven chances in the field, the most on the team.
