Roster Security Policy

 

In order to protect player and family personal information, this policy outlines this Policy

 

The National Form 2

      The "Form 2" is a player registration form created by the American Legion Baseball National committee.  The "Form 2" contain all of the information about a player registering to play American Legion Baseball.

 

How do we gather Form 2 information

      In order to ensure that each player "Form 2" is complete and accurate, each player or parent is required to fill in an online form designed by the Connecticut American Legion Baseball Committee. Information collected in the online form is added to a "Form 2 Table"

 

How are team "Rosters" loaded.

     The state webmaster runs a 2 step program th

1. Creates a PDF version of the "National Form 2"

2. Imports respective player information into the Connecticut American Legion Baseball website

Who has access to a player's "Roster" information.

     As part of the Connecticut American Legion Baseball" website, access to "Roster" activity js set by the Webmaster. ONLY one (1) person per team (Usually the team General Manager or "GM"), is allowed access to the team "Roster" information.

     This access can be delegated FROM the General Manager to another person. By doing so, that Roster access is removed from that General Manager and transferred to the new designee, thereby keeping with the policy of only one person having access to player information.
