On Tuesday night at Warrior Field in Troy, the Brother Rice Warriors (32-1) beat Detroit Edison in both games of a Non-League doubleheader 7-2 & 13-3. Rice pounded out 24 hits in their 11 innings of work. (Senior 3B) Chase Vanameyde blasted his 6th Home Run of the season and registered his team-leading 55th RBI of the year. (Senior RF) Ty Fox was 5-for-6 on the day with 4 Runs and 3 RBI. The Warriors will square off with Northville on Saturday. It will be a tough match-up between 2 of the best teams in the State. The first game is scheduled to start at 11:00 AM at Warrior Field in Troy.
