SUMTER, S.C. — One of South Carolina’s most historic baseball venues is once again in the spotlight as Riley Park hosts a critical stretch of the 2026 South Carolina American Legion Baseball postseason. Days 3 through 5 of both the Senior Division and Junior AAA State Championship tournaments are set to unfold in Sumter, bringing together top teams from across the state in a high-stakes, double-elimination format.

The Junior AAA State Tournament will take over Riley Park from July 17–19, featuring Days 3–5 of competition as teams battle through the decisive rounds of the bracket. The format shifts into double elimination at this stage, intensifying the pressure as clubs fight to stay alive and advance toward a state title.

Just days later, the Senior Division State Tournament arrives in Sumter, with Days 3–5 scheduled for July 24–26 at the same venue. Like the Junior AAA event, the Senior tournament’s latter rounds will also utilize a double-elimination format, ensuring that only the most consistent and resilient teams remain in contention for the championship.

The selection of Riley Park as host site adds a layer of tradition and prestige to the tournaments.
