On Wednesday night at Wheaton College's Lee Pfund Stadium, the Muskies will begin their National Amateur Baseball Federation World Series title defense.  The team was crowned champion of the 2025 World Series last August.  NABF has held its annual World Series event each year since 1914 except for the 2020 season when the event was cancelled due to the Covid19 pandemic.

The Muskies will open pool play on Wednesday night at 7:30 PM against a familiar foe, the Erie Buffalo of Buffalo, NY.  The two teams squared off in the Muskies' 2025 World Series opening game as well.  On Thursday, the Cleveland, OH Marlins will take on the Muskies at North Central College in a 6:30 PM game.  The team's final pool play game will take place Friday afternoon at Lee Pfund Stadium against the New Jersey Sox at 1:30 PM.

Six of the World Series' twelve participants will advance to bracket play that begins on Saturday at Lee Pfund and North Central.
