Heading into Spring Break, The Eagles looked to beat next town rivals The Oaks Christian Lions. Most had expected this to be somewhat of a formality. However the Eagles struggles continued right from the opening face off. The offensive unit had a difficult time manfacturing good scoring opportunities. The Eagles had a halftime lead of 4-2. Both teams marred the third quarter commiting multiple turnovers. Momentum shifted when The Lions scored late in the third to cut the lead in half, 4-3. Then with 2:07 remaining in the quarter the lights went out. Unable to turn the lights back on, the game was postponed. The game will be finished in Oak Park prior to their next contest on 4/9.
The JV Eagles continued to roll through oppenents beating the Lions 8-2. They improve their record to 5-1. These Eagles have outscored the competition 73-16. IMPRESSIVE!
