Back by popular demand is the second installment of the Labatt Blue Dictionary. Enjoy these great terms and chirps for us true hockey players.

Tucan: Term used to describe a kid on the team that does nothing but chirp all the time...biggest beak in the league. Example - "Is that tucan Shawn ever gonna shut his yapper?"

Daisy: Great term to use when you see some bender skating around with his pants cut ALL the way up the inside of the leg and it looks like he's skatin in a skirt. Example - "Hey
Daisy, I didn't know they stocked skirts in the pro shop."

Mystery Balls: Every team has a pair. This is the guy in the shower who holds his balls the whole time, never revealing his ballbag and penis. In most cases, this is the jacked up freak, clearly on roids. Example - "Hey Jimbo, whose the biggest on our team you think?"
"I don't know dude it's hard to tell because of Allen, kid has mystery balls.

Blaming the Lumber: When someone on your squad takes a horror show of a shot, then flips his stick upside down to look at the blade like it was the sticks fault. The bender will most likely continue to dry it off with their glove giving off the message that the blade was wet. Example - "Hey Jack, you see 1-4 blaming his lumber again? He'll be a fourth line
lifer after this game for sure."

Your cut like a bag of milk: When some fat slob who doesn't work out is fucking walking around the room shirtless and talking like a fucking idiot. Example - "Hey Harvey, your cut like a bag of milk"

Ronnie Roadkill: When some fuckin plug on the other team has brutal flow. Example - "Hey Coxy, check out Ronnie Roadkill; looks like he's got a fuckin dead animal on his head"

Ducker: A ducker is the bender that has decided to start playing hockey, way past his prime, for one sole reason; he recently saw the Mighty Ducks movies. Duckers can easily be spotted with gay decals on their helmets, plastic Itech full face shields, and cheese cutter Bauer air 90's. Example - "You see that Ducker over there, kid thinks he's Adam Banks."

Ice the Puck: This is used when someone is in an argument that they just can't win, and there down to their last resort, the only thing left to do is ice the puck and re-group. Example - "Hey Sully, ice the puck buddy, you're not gonna win this one."

Oven Mitts: This is a term used to describe when a lad just can't stop sniping gino's. His stick is so hot he needs some damn oven mitts to hold it. Example - "Fuckin Tony's lightin' it up, he's been wearing some oven mitts for the last 4 games"

Baby Sit: This is used when you toss in a dip and you need a friend to hold your spitter while you do something. Example - "Hey Mike, Baby Sit my spitter for a second."

Dong Show: When you roll up to a party and there's like 30 dudes and and no broads. Example - "Hey Johnny, I wouldn't have come if I knew it was gonna be a dong show."

Cowboy: The kid on your team who rides the pine pony game in and game out. Example - "Hey cowboy, how's the bench?"

10 Minute Mischewchuk: A lad takes a 10 at the end of the 2nd period so he can slap in a lipper during the intermission and continue enjoying it while sitting in the pim box for another 10...great way to calm the nerves. Example - "I knew Stevie was gonna get a 10 minute mischewchuk at the end of the 2nd. All game he was craving a dip."

Mikey Microwave: Term used for the 4th line plug whose only role is to warm up the tender a few minutes before the puck drops and won't see a shift for the entire tilt. Example - "Look at Mikey Microwave trying to snipe top shelf during warmie, that's the last ice he'll see."

Ronnie Replay: The guy who always asks if you saw him lay out a plug or take a nice shot  Example - "Did you see me lay that bender out in the corner?" "Easy Ronnie Replay"

Top Bunk: Since I am just getting tired or people saying top shelf. Can substitute for shelf, cheese, roof, etc. Example - "Hey Jay, you see Jackie go top bunk on Clarke? Fuckin ridiculous!"

Pylon Paully: Complete shit show defenseman on your team that is always getting dangled. Example -"You guys see Pylon Paully out there, I bet our tendie wants to hang him."

Blockness Monster: A blocked shot by a player who rarely takes one for the team. A literary illusion to the Lockness Monster, who you hear a lot about, but never see. Example - "Hey Smitty, you see Spezza's blockness monster last night?"

The Last of the Mohicans: This term refers to the last bunch of boys on the team who are always up for a good time and never want to stop partying. At the end of the night, the Last of the Mohicans stick around to tell the jokes and stories of the past. The Last of the
Mohicans can be found having the infamous one last beer at seven in the morning before they pass out for the rest of the day until praccy at 4 p.m. These lads are by far the most popular boys on the team. Example - "You can always rely on Tommy to be one of the Last of the Mohicans."

Neckguard: This chirp is a beaut to use on the kid who just runs his mouth all night about scrappin' but you know won't ever fight. Example - "I would have kicked that guys ass." "Okay there bud, the only time you'd drop the gloves is to fix your neckguard."

Pullin' The Chute: This is a term to describe a lazy bastard on your team who blames you for their laziness. Example - You pass to a player where the puck is one foot ahead of him and he could easily get it but blames you and heads off the ice. This is pulling the chute. The term can also be used when your team is down and you choose not to put an effort in
to come back. No one likes players who do this, there's one on every team.

Top Cheese: A fantastic maneuver to get around not being able to dip when working a customer service type of job. You may achieve this greatness by throwing in a Top Cheese, which is a hooch in the top of your mouth, where most non dippers would never even think of looking. Unreal move. Example - "Hads is one of those pro dippers who isn't afraid to throw in the Top Cheese when it is necessary."

Chewbacco: The kid on the squad that constantly has a chaw in his lip. Example - "Look at Chewbacco over there, he is always dippin."

Gumby: Used for the house league bender you see in open biscuit wearing all the new gear but when he strides down the ice his legs bend three different ways before they touch the ice again and he continuously chops at the puck until the sides turn square. Example - "Take a look at Gumby out there, he is just plain miserable."
