The Acadiana Amateur Baseball League is Acadiana's only men's adult baseball league. Formed in 1998 by Joey Caillier, the league has continued to progress into a competitive yet fun league. Games are played mostly on Sundays and occasionally on Saturdays at fields throughout Acadiana. Most games are played at Fabacher Field in Broussard and also high school fields in the area including Acadiana High, Comeaux High and Broussard Sports Complex. This is REAL baseball and all games are 9 innings. The AABL is a non-profit league and is very thankful for the many sponsors who generously support adult amateur baseball in south Louisiana.
Wanna play some ball? If you're at least 18 years old and will show up on game day, play hard, but have a good time, then we're looking for you! Teams pick up players throughout the season so it's usually not too late to get scooped up by a team. To check if any team is in need of players, contact League President Mike Guidry at (678) 517-0467 or email [email protected] and he'll let you know.
