What makes a Thunderbolt?

"They pitch faster, hit harder, run quicker, go harder. They bring home championships and build relationships. They never quit and strive to push through any obstacle that may come their way... for themselves, for each other, for their future. Because its not about the game, its about the girls."

About Thunderbolts 2024 - Burns:

The Bolts 2024 team was assembled in the Fall of 2015 as a first year 10u team. As all other Thunderbolt teams, we train hard and try to represent the Bolts as the premier fastpitch organization that it is. Our facilities in Irondale, Alabama comprise of the Shea Brothers Softball Complex (two state of the art synthetic turf fields and outdoor batting cages), a clay & grass field, and a 13,000 SF indoor training facility. It is a family organization, not a franchise. They do not sell their name. Every Bolt player and every Bolt team comes through our facility doors to train. Very few if any other organizations can say they've placed more players in major college softball programs in the last few years than the Birmingham Bolts, and none can claim their players are more prepared for the next level.
