The Bradley Central Bearettes Lacrosse Team was formed in 2021 at the behest of two Bradley Central High teachers, Philip Rich and Jon Massey. After meeting together and deciding to start a girls lacrosse team they decided to enlist the help of some former and current lacrosse coaches in the area. Their persistence, hard work and dedication led to the creation of a new club sport at Bradley Central High School. Philip and Jon had previously coached other sports over the course of their teaching careers and decided to embark on the difficult task of starting up a brand new sport in the Bradley County area. After an abundance of interest from the community and 2 excited coach's our first season was a go!
We are a community club sport comprising of Bradley Central High School girls who want to learn and play the game of lacrosse. We are a varsity program governed by the Tennesse Girls Lacrosse Association and compete for regional and state titles against teams across Tennessee. Coach Philip Rich has been coaching for over 15 years with this year being his first year coaching lacrosse. Coach Adriana DeVita has played lacrosse since high school and continued to play four years at the collegiate level at Lee University. She also joined our coaching staff in the fall of 2020 and brings a wealth of relevant knowledge and experience to our team.
Whether you are a new or experienced player, we look forward to meeting you and the 2021-2022 season!
