Metz works and coaches volleyball at Jackson Center Local Schools. She is the head coach of Jackson Center’s back-to-back state volleyball championships in 2015 and 2016. She was named the District IX Volleyball Coaches Association of the Year 11 times. She receive the Coaches Achievement Award three times. She is the president of the Ohio Volleyball coaches Association.

 

Her volleyball teams have won the Shelby County Athletic League Championship 14 times, they have been crowned Southwest District champions 15 times, and they have won four regional champion titles and was in the state final four in 2007. The team was the state runner-up in 2008.

 

Metz is also a member of the Fairlawn Hall of Fame. She has been named MaxPreps National Small Schools Coach of the Year. She was was the 2016 Division IV Coach of the Year.

 

Metz has over 500 wins during her career, and still counting. She was also awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award by the Ohio HS Volleyball Coaches Association.
