Northwest Thunder Softball is a competitive fastpitch program that strives for success on and off the field! We work hard to prepare each player for the next level in a positive team enviorment!!!

In our program, we stress teamwork, positive attitude, discipline, hardwork and play with high energy from start to finish every practice, every game, while having fun doing it! We want to, not only develop solid physical athletic skills of each player, but also develop solid mental characteristics in each one of our players! This includes good sportsmanship, respect for the game, respect for teammates and coaches, as well as learning that errors are a part of softball! As players, we always work hard to minimize errors, learn from them...and most important....MOVE ON! Each new pitch.....is a new play!!!! We understand this is a game of failure and focus on two things....ATTITUDE and EFFORT! Its not the mistake that concerns us, thats part of the game, its how we react to the mistake that is important.

We have a strong focus on fundamental mechanics, including defensive footwork, quick hands, offensive mechanics and increase overall game knowledge! We use quality indoor facilities to conduct "Offseason" winter training to polish these skills....in preparation to the spring and summer seasons!

It is also our goal to provide each of our players with quality gear and quality instruction at a competitive level! To help accomplish this, we have great sponsors to help provide quality gear and expose our players to team clinics with college players at local Washington and Oregon universities! We feel this an important part of our program to help develop the mental aspects of the game with our players! These are girls who have worked hard to acheive their softball goals to play at the college level!! There are NO better role models for our girls to learn these important characteristics from then the girls who have been there....done that!! We want them to realize that hard work and dedication DOES PAY OFF!!
