About the Plymouth Rockets

The Plymouth Rockets are a member of The Shoreline Baseball League a Summer Collegiate Baseball league operating out of Michigan, Ohio, and Indiana. Teams in the league are located in the following cities: Midland, Grand Rapids, Jackson, Livonia, Plymouth, Traverse City, Kalamazoo, Detroit, and Toledo (OH).  Amateur players are from NAIA, NJCAA, and NCAA-sanctioned colleges and universities. The league plays a compressed travel schedule between June and July. The league plays a 30-40 game schedule (weather permitting). The league Championship will be between the teams with the Best Win % of the West vs East in a (1) 9-inning game. The winner of that game will be crowned Shoreline League Champions for that year.

The Shoreline League is an all-natural wood bat league (No composite or Baum Bats). The purpose of the league is to: (a) Provide family friendly, affordable baseball entertainment in the communities where our teams are located; (b) Provide a summer baseball program for eligible players to give them experience using a wood bat in a ultra competitive atmosphere.
