ABOUT US
The Indy Orioles, formerly known as the Diamondbacks, took form on April 6, 2014 following the Indianapolis Baseball League's new-player tryout. With more than 20 players in attendance, the players were told at the conclusion of the 2-hour tryout that they'd all be playing together as the league's newest expansion team. On May 4, 2014, they became the first expansion team in the 24-year history of the league to win their debut game. Seven years later on September 27, 2020, they appeared in their first championship game and on August 25, 2024, the Orioles captured their first championship in eleven seasons.
