About the Hit Factory Tampa

The Hit Factory Baseball and Softball Organization is one of the longest tenured elite travel ball programs in Florida begining in 1994 in the Tampa Bay Area. The Hit Factory Academy was founded by former MLB Player, Paul Russo. Coach Russo sought to create an elite travel ball program which focused on player development while competing at the highest level of competitive youth baseball and softball.

With over 20 of the HF Alumni in professional baseball and an additional 100 plus HF Alumni in the collegiate ranks, the program continues to be a success. This program has become one of the most respected and recognizable programs across the nation. The program has been a staple in the baseball and softball community throughout the Tampa Bay Area (Hillsborough, Manatee, Pasco, Pinellas, and Polk Counties), helping players achieve their goals of making their respective high school programs in addition to long term goals of competing at the collegiate and professional levels.

The HF Program allows players to develop at their own pace while still competing against teams within their skill and talent levels utilizing the AA, AAA and MAJORS classifications. HF teams participate in a wide variety of baseball and softball tournaments throughout the State of Florida and beyond. The program utilizes a variety of national and local tournament organizations to fill the schedules and provide a range of competition and exposure for the players.

Currently, the Hit Factory Academy has baseball teams in the 9U, 11U AA, 11U MAJORS, 12U AA, 13U AA, 13U AAA, 14U AA, 14U AAA, 15U MAJORS, and the 16U & 18U Showcase teams. The HF program recently add an 18U Fast Pitch softball team. We are always searching for players, families and coaches seeking to commit to a higher level of competition in an academy style program.
