About the RJFL JUNIOR

The RJFL was establish during the Fall of 2004 to provide recreational men's football to the Monsey Jewish Community. Starting with a small field at the Colton School with only four teams and 40 players, the RJFL grew to almost 70 players during the 2009 season where all games were conducted "indoors" at the Torne Valley Sports Complex.

Due to the inherent success of the RJFL men's league, the idea of a RJFL Junior league was proposed by one of the RJFL's greatest talents...Shmuel Ber Robinson.  After careful consideration and tenacious planning, the RJFL Junior league was implemented and has grown to over 200 children representing grades 1 through 8. We have also started the High School division. The community enthusiasm and support for the Junior league has been tremendous and we look forward to many wonderful years to come where our children can expend their energy an get some excercise in a well managed, safe and frum environment.
