The vision for the Santa Clara Dynasty Baseball Club first developed in the summer of 2007. After spending time with a local mens team in San Jose, Dynasty founders Greg Fanara and Kenny Dame set out to start a team of their own. With a core group of players, compiled mostly of friends and former high school teammates, the Dynasty played their inaugural season in the Fall of 2007 as members of the San Jose NABA. Santa Clara would later join the Silicon Valley Adult Baseball League in 2010 where they have remained since. What started as a way to keep playing with friends and family has turned into one of the most recognized semi-pro teams in the entire San Francisco Bay Area. The Dynasty has been the destination for some of the most talented former college and professional baseball players in the area. Since joining the SVABL in 2010 the team has been the winningest franchise in the league with 3 Division crowns, 3 trips to the Champsionship Series, and one league championship title.
