Storm Lacrosse's inaugural season began Spring of 2012 as part of the Northern Illinois Lacrosse League.
Our initial season fielded 17 players for a single JV team
In cooperation with South Elgin High School Athletic Director and the school's administration, the team switched leagues joining the IHSLA (Illinois High School Lacrosse Association) and grew to 27 teammates on the JV team. At present, the SEHS Storm Lacrosse Club has grown to 50 players fielding both Varsity and JV teams
In 2017 the Varsity team record was 17-1, with the team going on to collect the Lacrosse Cup Championship by defeating
Carmel Catholic 9-7

Our club continues to build upon the foundation that began in early 2011 when a small group of parent volunteers assembled with the vision of introducing the "fastest game on two feet" to South Elgin High School. SEHS Lacrosse continues to thrive thanks to the support of our school's Athletic Director, Administration, volunteers, coaches, generous sponsors and our fans!
Update:
With the support of U-46, SEHS Lacrosse has once again moved on to more success! Beginning this 2018 season Lacrosse will leave club status and become one of the many sports recognized by the IHSA
(Illinois High School Association) making way for more growth
Including a Girl's Lacrosse Team
We remain passionate about the game and committed to building a Lacrosse community that emphasizes
player development and teamship
Go Storm!
