The Program

The Thunder program is an all-inclusive program with a focus on player development and competing as a team for PBLO (16u) and PBLO / Canadian National Championship (18u).

We also compete for National Canadian titles at the 22u and Men's levels. Our season begins with tryouts in August/September each year, followed by a short, mostly local fall season. This framework allows players to have an offseason, where they are encouraged to be involved in other sports/athletics at club or high school levels. During the offseason, players are provided, and encouraged to follow a strength & conditioning program that gradually builds toward indoor workouts beginning in January to prepare for the upcoming baseball season.

The 16u and 18u teams play in the Premier Baseball League of Ontario (PBLO) which starts the first weekend in May.

The Team

The Thunder 16U AAAA Team will compete in the Premier Baseball league of Ontario. Teams can expect 24-28 regular season games played over seven weekends in May and June. All home games are played at Bert Lacasse Park. Additionaly, the team will attend showcase tournaments in both Ontario and the United States.
