The Texas Hawks is a travel ball organization sanctioned by the Spring Klein Girls Softball League and managed by Coach Gilbert Ornelas. We compete around Texas and across the country with teams at the 16U and 18U level.  We have players from all around the greater Houston area. The Texas Hawks organization is one of the very first Gold-level ball clubs in the Houston area and is the longest tenured team that still exists today. Our founding manager Dick Haskel started the Texas Hawks nearly 40 years ago, through his leadership now continued by Coach Gilbert the Hawks have assisted over 350 young ladies in obtaining scholarships to play softball at the collegiate level!  All of our 2019 and 2020 graduates are now on college campuses competing at the next level, and our excellent roster of current Hawks are trusting the process and working to continue this legacy.  We compete to win, but trophy chasing is not the ethos of this team - the 100% commitment of the Texas Hawks organization is to develop young ladies into better softball players and better human beings.
