About the Tullahoma Adult Baseball
2019 Adult Baseball Champions

BRIEF LEAGUE OVERVIEW:

Tullahoma Parks and Recreation offers baseball to adults (18+) in the Middle Tennessee area with a full season schedule (10-12 games plus postseason tournament) at one of the premier high school baseball venues across the state in Grider Stadium. The league is home to 100+ active players of all baseball abilities, including former professional pitchers and current college student-athletes. No baseball experience required to participate!

Our program strives to bring its participants the best possible product. The league features qualified District 8 umpires, a full-time grounds crew that maintains prestine field conditions, concessions, and scorekeeper. Games are all live-scored through the GameChanger app where players and fans can follow along if they are unable to come to the ballfield. Player statistics are uploaded here on our website typically the day following games, along with the box score, and brief game summary. The league tracks season-long player statistics, league leaders, and standings that you can view at any time.

WHEN AND WHERE:

Adult Baseball in Tullahoma begins in July, typically following the 4th of July weekend. Games are played at both Grider Stadium and Waggoner Park on Tuesdays and Thursday evenings. Doubleheaders at Grider Stadium are scheduled for 6pm and 8pm, and Waggoner Park single games begin at 7pm. Time limit for games is 1 hour and 45 minutes or 7 innings.

RULES TO KNOW:

Game time for the first game on each field will begin as it is listed on the schedule. No exceptions. This is to keep games on time, especially as it relates to weeknights and work in the morning for many of our players. Teams may play with 8 players, however, with a grace period of 30 minutes. Teams that do not reach the required number of players to start the game by 30 minutes after gametime will forfeit the match. Once a team forfeits (2) times, they will be removed from the schedule.

No new inning will be started after time limit has expired. Games may be called due mercy rule: 15 runs after 3 innings or 10 runs after 4 or more innings.

Players must be registered prior to a team's first game to be eligible to pitch for the season. Teams may pick up players during the season, however, they will not be allowed to pitch. A player may not play until the Registration and Waiver Form has been completed. Players must compete in at least 3 games during the regular season to be eligible for the postseason tournament.

All aluminum -3 bats or wood bats are considered legal.

Teams are asked to provide their own jerseys and be dressed in proper baseball attire.

HOW TO REGISTER TO PLAY:

Players looking to participate may be picked up by a current team or create their own team. Registration is $925 per team, not an individual payment amount. If you are looking to be picked up by a team, please contact team captain's via our league Facebook page, linked in the upper banner. Each team's players must complete the Participant Registration and Waiver Form, also linked in the upper banner.
