The The Valley Forge Patriots Gold (Zulla) Team was formed in 2013 at the first year 14U level by Mike Reid and Ralph DelGiudice.  We began playing at the Showcase level in 2015, offering our players excellent training and practice opportunities to prepare them for softball at the collegiate level.  Coach Carlo Zulla came on board as an Assistant Coach in the Fall of 2018, and took over as Head Coach in the Fall of 2019.  He transitioned our team to the Gold level for the 2021-2022 season.

Over the course of several years, we have counseled and assisted more than 20 players with securing roster spots at the schools of their choice, including a few alumni from our team who moved on to play for, and get recruited from, our original Gold Team coached by Mike Lorine.  We work closely with coach Lorine's Gold Team within the Valley Forge Patriots College Prep Program to ensure that all our players are well educated on the college recuriting process, and well prepared to handle all the challenges associated with attending college - academically, socially, and athletically.
