Collins Power Skating Clinic

BIO:  Played Youth Hockey at RAHA, Black Ice AAA Midget and went on to play D1 Prep School Hockey, Represented Team Vermont Select 14,15,16,17 and went on to have a brief Division 3 college career. I have been attending power skating programs since I was five years old and been taught by some of the best skating coaches from the Olympic, NHL and College level.         Email: brendanc82@gmail.com

How Much:  $10 per session (pay as you go)

Focus:  The focus of this program is to practice unique but proven skating skills that will help develop the players balance, speed, quickness, agility, power and acceleration.

Ages:   8 �€“ 21   One of the great privileges of power skating is that age and ability are not relevant; youth programs run the same power skating drills that NHL and Olympic teams do.

The Black Ice Hockey team will enter 5 to 7 tournaments this 2010 spring season. Tryouts are March 6 2010 at 9:30 AM to 3:30 PM with a two hour break at 11:30 AM at the Spartan Arena in Rutland Vermont. A team waiver form per player at the door and the cost is $20 fee for a 4 hour tryout. Black Ice is a Midget/High School age AA/AAA scheduled post season hockey team. Tournament will start on March 12 - 14 in Concord NH, CHE Montreal CAN, CanAm Lake Placid NY, Minuteman Flames and Coca Cola tournaments in Ma.

�€œBLACK ICE HOCKEY TEAM�€

The Black Ice hockey program started in 1999 for extra ice time to help a local high school hockey team in Rutland, Vermont. The team has evolved over the years to a select pre/post season team that includes midget or high school age hockey players from any state or country.  These players are selected during tryouts that are held by the Black Ice Hockey coaching staff and/or from scouting Vermont varsity players during the high school season.

 

The Black Ice hockey club team is a select midget/high school age USA registered hockey team based in Rutland, Vermont.  Black Ice will play a select number of tournaments in the spring, after the high school season.  There is also a fall season, with games on weekends, before the high school season resumes.  Black Ice will have tryouts at the beginning of each season.
