The first weeks schedule is posted on the mini-schedule on the homepage! Since we believe that there might be another team wanting to join the league this season, we're waiting till the results of the first week are recorded, and the deadline for adding players to a team roster or another team to the league will be Thursday, December 8th. The complete and final season schedule will be posted by 6:00pm that night. The second week's games will be on Saturday, December 10th. Good luck to everyone, let's go have some fun!

Winter Season will begin Saturday, December 3rd at Haverty Field in Clearlake. This will be the first week of the season. The first game will start at 11:00am. The second game will start at 1:00pm. If you have not paid your fees yet, do so ½ hour before the start of your game in order to register. If your team is not registered on time you will forfeit that game. We've had to move the Jamboree to AUSTIN PARK because of field condition issues with Haverty Field. So, we'll be playing the at the same place we've been holding our scrimmages.

The action escalated even more, but I'm really impressed with everyone's behavior so far. If everyone keeps exhibiting this high level of good sportsmanship, we're all going to have a great time this year!
Our pre-season jamboree is scheduled for next week(11/05/11) starting at 10am at Haverty Field, Clearlake. When or if we 're going to start the season depends on the turnout and whether or not everyone pays their enrollment fees of $20.00 each player.
So if you read this bulletin and checkout the event schedule on our homepage, that description will define what needs to happen. Please use this information seriously. We could really use some team development by the Jamboree to help make that day go smoother.

We were able to run a regular season format game yesterday with some "controversy" involved. The competitive nature of the league is ramping up! For us football enthusiasts, the action is back! There were even some fans who came out to watch, and I overheard them describing the action as " some good '#$@&^"! (roughly paraphrased).
So, Open Scrimmage IV will probably be even more intense. We're suggesting that anyone, especially teams, that plan to participate get in touch with us ASAP. If there are going to be more than two teams playing, we need to be able to adjust the format of the "scrimmage" to accommodate everyone.
If anyone would like to "volunteer" to help officiate during the season, even if you don't have any experience, please get in touch with any of the staff ASAP. We can make arrangements to get in some training/practice between now and the start of the season.

Since the start of the 2011/2012 Winter Season is just around the corner, we want to encourage teams to begin communicating with us. We're hoping(as always) that league membership will expand this year. It seems like individuals in the football community are responding better, but they've got to develop into teams. Otherwise we'll basically have a pick-up game quality to this season. Anybody that would like to organize a new team, please get in touch with anyone on the STAFF(button at top of homepage) and we'll help anyway we can.
There are two more open scrimmages scheduled before our Pre-Season Jamboree. Players can take advantage of these to get their teams into shape. These scrimmages are listed on our homepage "mini- SCHEDULE" section.

The guys that showed up had a good time. There was just enough participation to consider having another scrimmage in the weeks to come. But we're getting frustrated with the apparent lack of respect for our efforts in organizing these events exhibited by league members when they don't show up on time, or at all, as they said they would. If you players can't attend an event, that's all good. Just let us know. If the members of this league don't start interacting with us more, the league's going to stall out, crash, and burn. Another Lake County activity bites the dust...! Let us know you're out there and we'll keep trying to make the league stronger. We need you're participation to do it.
