1. There will be no swearing on the ice by any player. There will be a penalty given or possible suspension given by such actions.
2. No "body checking" will be allowed.Body contact is permitted, the dividing line will be the referees decision. The rest of the game is to be officiated in accordance with O.M.H.A. rules.
3. Each team will have one player designated to be their captain and spokesman to the referee on the ice. The captain will also represent each team on the league board.
4. The referees decision will be final on the ice. If the team has a protest it must be in writing and delivered to the chairman within 72 hours of the game in question.
5. The boards decision on a protest or other league concerns will be final.
6. Players may play in other leagues providing it is classed lower than O.M.H.A representative level. (2005/09/08)
7. The team may substitute a player for one that is missing providing he notifies the league president or other member of the board if the president is not available. The opposing team is also to be notified. (2005/09/08)
8. Fighting will be dealt with by the referee. A second fight will result with discipline, decided upon by the league board.
9. The board reserves the right to assess the behaviour of any player and deal with it as they feel necessary to protect the interest of the league.
10. Coaches have been selected by the board and have been given permission to coach and discipline their teams as they feel is necessary.
11. Sponsors are appreciated very much and may make suggestions for the leagues improvement, but they have no vote in the board.
12. There will be 12 voting members on the board. One player and one coach from each team. The chairperson will be responsible to break any tie votes.
13. All players are responsible to obey all arena rules and all league rules.
1. Players must be at least 16 years of age before December 31 of the current playing season.
2. The player must be a member of the Brighton, Trenton, Frankford, or Bloomfield Christian Reformed Church unless approved by the board. All new players will be subject to a review after 1 year of playing in the league. ( 2005/09/08 )

1. If two teams are tied in points at the end of the regular season then they shall remain as such, and both names be engraved on the season trophy. (920221)
2. When a match penalty is assessed to a player he will be evicted out of the game and be suspended for the following three games. If assessed a second match penalty the player will be suspended for the year. (931126)
3. Decision process for determining the placing of two tied teams at the end of the playoff round robin. (940311).
a. If two teams are tied at the end of the round robin playoff series, the winner of their head to head play, will be placed ahead of the loser in the standings. If there was a tie in this game then criteria b. will be used. In the event that three teams are tied, the head to head play will again be looked at first. If a tie still remains then criteria b. shall be used to determine the winner.
b. If two or more teams remain tied, the winner will be the one with the best plus/minus in total round robin play when goals against are subtracted from the goals for.(eg. Team "A" had 21 goals for and 13 goals against them,this team would then have a plus minus of +8.)The team with the best plus/minus would then be placed ahead of the loser in the team standings.
c. If the teams remain tied, the winner will be the one with the most goals score against opposing teams (most goals for) during the round robin.
d. If the teams remain tied, the winner will be the one with the least goals scored against them by opposing teams during the round robin.
e. If the teams still remain tied, then the winner will be decided finally by a coin toss, between the two coaches.The winner of the cointoss would then be placed head of the loser in the team standings.
4. Decision process to determine a winner in the championship game if regulation time ends in a tie If the two teams playing in the championship game are tied at the end of regulation time the game shall continue into overtime periods.Play will continue until one team succeeds in breaking the tie. The overtime periods will be 15 minutes in length and running time.All overtime periods will be sudden death.
5. If two teams playing in a game are within two (2) goals or less of one another then there will stop time in the last three (3) minutes of the game.
6. Face shields are required by all players on the ice. Those without one will not be allowed to play.
7. New teams will be selected each year.
a.The board reserves the right to make team adjustments to better balance the teams.
8. There will be no centre red line used except for the calling of icing.
9. There will be no slap shots permitted. Stick must be kept below waist level.
