Note: CSS Will Follow Schedule Of Our Schools. When Schools Re-Open, Css Will Re-Open.

Doesn't matter if it's April, May or June. We will start when schools are in session. Please pray for all who are impacted by Covid-19!

IT'S OFFICIAL, THERE WILL BE NO CSS SOCCER IN 2020!

First time this has happened in 23 years of guiding Catholic School/Christian Academy Soccer! We were hoping to at least honor our 8th graders with a Farewell Graduate Game but Covid would just not cooperate. Regardless, so very sad! We wish our 8th graders nothing but success as they turn the page and begin new chapters in their lives. We give great thanks to our parent volunteers who sacrificed precious time and talents to manage, coach, direct and officiate our kids over the years. You will be blessed as you have blessed others! We pray for the immensely dedicated group of teachers, principals and directors of St. Christopher, St. Martha and OLMC who have given so much to so many for so long!

You will be missed!

Barring any Covid resurgence, CSS will return once again in 2021 and will be as strong as ever! Until then, wishing God's peace and grace upon you and your families!

Warmest regards,

Lou Carpenter-CSS

CSS EAST VS WEST COACHES FOR MACC CHARITY GAME WED 6/15/16

CSS Coaches and referees joined forces once again to raise $2,600 for Manchester Area Conference of Churches at MCC!

West coaches and referees got the benefit of a healthy Barrington McLeod (Paul) hat trick and some clutch Chris Rhoads (Edward) goalkeeping down the stretch to hold off East, 4-3!

East's Ed Jacques (Bernard) and West's McCleod and Tony Proano (Rose) exchanged goals to tie at the half. East controlled possession throughout the second half behind Ed and Quincy Jacques (Bernard) but East could not solve Rhoads and super central defender, Dan Jeffrey (Gabriel) and held on to grab a 4-3 win! Tom Micalewski (SJPll) was terrific in goal for East!

McLeod and Rhoads were named Most Outstanding Players for West while Ed Jacques and Jon Martensen (Edward) were most outstanding for East!

Meaghen Sprague was on hand for MACC at halftime to receive the Coaches and Referees gift of $2,600. A great event for a great cause!

2016 EAST VS WEST FAREWELL ALL STAR GAME 6/13/16

IT'S EAST EDGING WEST 3-3 (3-2) IN PK'S!

OVERCOME 2 GOAL, 2ND HALF DEFECIT TO GRAB 9TH ANNUAL FAREWELL GAME!

Looked like West was in for a long night after East scored on a breakaway only 3 minutes in!

Matt Santy (Bernard) quickly split the East defenders and scored easily to grab a 1-0 lead for East.

East dominated play for the first 18 minutes with West struggling to clear its own half.

Keegan Reim (Bernard) and Brendon Bellinger (Gabriel) dominated possession for East until Katie Malloy (Corpus), Bella Samse (Corpus) and Josh Grajales (Brigid) righted the sinking East ship!

Peter Landry (Bernard/Enfield) was terrific in goal stopping several West chances!

East held a 1-0 lead at the break but was quickly overwhelmed by a surging West squad led by a Grajales goal and assist and fine attacking play from Samse, Sydney Kennison (Edward) and Joey Marcin (Chris). An East own goal forced by another Grajales attack gave West a 3-1 lead at the 60-minute mark! East quickly responded and eventually tied on a brilliant cross from Bellinger and an equally remarkable header finish from Keegam Reim at the 68-minute mark! Both teams traded attacks and chances but could not finish and were forced to PK's. East trailed 2-1 after 2 pk's but netted 3 straight to win out in an exciting Farewell contest!

Leah Gray (Gabriel/Windsor) and Brendon Bellinger (Gabriel/NWC) were named Most Outstanding for East while Bella Samse (Corpus/Wethersfield) and Josh Grajales (Brigid/Conard) were Most Outstanding for West

9TH ANNUAL EAST-WEST FAREWELL ALL STAR GAME AT MCC

EAST EDGES WEST 4-4 (4-3Pk's) IN FAREWELL CLASSIC!!

Cornerstone Christian School’s Dan Troche proved too much for the West stars as he nets 4 goals in regulation and the clinching goal in PK's to lead East over West!

A very large crowd supporting a record 54 Farewell players were treated to easily one of the most exciting Farewell games ever!

It was all West early in the first half as Garfield Walker's side struck quickly when St Bernard's Julia Morin snuck past the East defense 3 minutes in! Cornerstone's Dan Troche kept East in the game as he broke free on the left wing and scored a minute later against the run of play! West continued to press as Jordan Griffin (Corpus Christi) netted the first of his 2 goals to help West surge to a 3-1 lead but Troche continued to escape and scored 2 more goals just before the half to even things at the break, 3-3! St. Gabriel's Tori Pilletiere scored at the 60 minute mark and the game settled down into an evenly played match! With West leading 4-3, Ron Cote's East goalkeeping led by Dean Grano (Christopher) and Nathan Brey (Cornerstone) stopped several quality shots from EJ Leary (SJPll) and Jordah Griffin!! West pulled back it's defenders to protect their 4-3 advantage but with 20 seconds to go, Troche slithered through 2 defenders to net the tying goal before stunned spectators and an incredulous West side!! To no one's surprise, Dan Troche netted the clincher on the 5th East penalty kick as West failed to score their 5th kick allowing East to capture the 9th Annual Farewell Classic!! Remarkable match!

Dan Troche (Cornerstone) and the brilliant attacking defender, Alexandra Russell (St. James), were named Most Outstanding for the East while Jordan Griffin (Cornerstone) and the very productive sweeper Elena Anderson (Gabriel) were Most Outstanding for the West!! Rohan Gray assisted Garfield Walker (Gabriel) for the West and Saeed Ghoreshi (James) supported Ron Cote (Christopher) for the East squad! Well done and a fitting end to the 2015 season!

Also, Assumption's John Dudzinski was presented the CSS Distinguished Service Award for his many years of support and hard work with CSS.

Similar to the Farewell game, West coaches controlled play throughout first half and led 2-1 on the strength of Mike Caporiccio (Corpus) and Duane James (SJPll) goals trumping a Tony Proano (Rose) 27 minute goal! East kept chipping away in the 2nd half until Quincy Jacques (Bernard) discovered net with 14 minutes to go! West outlasted East on the 6th PK, 4-3!
