THE TRIAD OUTSIDERS
NEW JERSEY HAWKEYES
The New Jersey Hawkeyes Minor Professional Football organization, currently defending Major League Football Champions was established in 2015. The Hawkeyes based out of Newark, N.J. have recruited the best that the Garden State has to offer with the majority of players on the roster coming from Hudson County and Essex County. The Coaching staff, led by Head Coach Rahim Wilson and current Minor League Hall of Famers MacArthur Kelley and Marvin Morgan along with experience at the NFL level, the Hawkeyes were building steam from the beginning. This coaching staff, along GM Greta Baisden have decades of experience to offer the sport and this team. The regular season ended with a stellar 13-0 league record achieving the MLF Pac6 Division title, National Conference title and MLF League Title.
Owner Luis Matos along with General Manager Greta Baisden provided the leadership from a management standpoint which helped establish the foundation in creating a successful organization for years to come and participating in the Sunshine Bowl will help propel the Hawkeyes organization to new heights
Currently, Major League Football, a 24 team league spans throughout the Tri-State area houses some the most prized programs in the game. Teams like the NY Predators with a few National Championships under their belt, the Brooklyn Mariners, a program who have lasted over six decades stood in the Hawkeyes’ path to the championship with our organization successfully defeating the NY Predators 33-9. The New Jersey Hawkeyes family look forward to participating in the Sunshine Bowl Extravaganza in 2017.
