08/16 Temple Meet:
The Anderson girls and boys cross country teams got off to great start for the cross country season at the Temple XC Invitational Meet on Friday.
The girls varsity team took home the 1st place plaque on a deciding tiebreaker against A & M Consolidated with Anderson's 6th runner breaking the tie. Each team had 85 team points. Ellie Skalaban medaled with a 10th place finish. Jazlyn Villareal finished in 19th place and Opal lung finished in 20th place. Lilian Jacobson finished in 22nd place. Natalie Barrera, Jenna Hamm, Hannah Nassor and Gabby Levitt rounded out the varsity members who earned the team victory.
The varsity boys team finished in 2nd place at the Temple Invitational. Matthew Scheberle led the way for the boys team with a 14th place finish. Ben Kim finished in 15th place and Lian Donohoe finished in 17th place. Justin Morwood finished in 21st place and Tyler Martinez finished in 31st place to round out the scoring for the Trojans. Chris Livaudais, Vinay Shankar, Alex Brown and Stephen Campos all contributed to the teams' 2nd place finish.
The junior varsity girls teams finished in 9th place at the temple meet. Abbey Stein medaled with an 8th place finish and Sydney Fulton medaled with an 11th place finish. Hayden Jones, Kim Aguilar, Nardos Southwick, Erin Shafto and Maddie Ellis rounded out the top 7 scorers for the lady Trojans.
The junior varsity boys finished in 5th place overall at the Temple XC Meet. Antonio Suarez finished in 10th place. Riley Fuller finished in 21st place. Nicholas Greiner-Guzman finished in 26th place. Axel Weldon, Hunt Harrell, Asa Evans and George Tisdale rounded out the top 7 scorers for the junior varsity boys.

The Trojans compete in the Belton Invitational Meet next Friday. We had great support from all of our parents who attended the temple meet. Our cross country teams appreciate all that you for for them.

08/23 Belton Meet:
The Anderson girls and boys cross country teams faced powerhouses Georgetown and Belton and held their own against some of the top teams in Central Texas last Friday. The teams continue to work hard and many of the team members improved their times on the three mile run.
The varsity boys team finished in 3rd place at the Belton XC Invitational. Liam Donohoe led the way by earning a medal with a 7th place finish. Matthew Scheberle medaled with a 10th place finish. Ben Kim finished in 19th place. Justin Morwood and Tyler Martinez rounded out the scoring for the Trojans. Chris Livaudais, Vinay Shankar and Reece Butlerall contributed to the teams' 3rd place finish.

08/31 Lockhart Meet:
The Anderson girls and boys cross country teams competed against teams from Central Texas, San Antonio and Corpus Christi area at the Hippensteel Lockhart XC Invitational in Lockhart, Texas over the Labor Fay weekend The teams continue to work hard and many of the team members improved their times on the 1.9 mile run.
The varsity boys team finished in 12th place. Shea Donohoe finished in 25th place among a crowded field of runners. Matt Scheberle, Tyler Martinez, Justin Morwood and Chris Livaudais rounded out the scoring for the varsity boys team.
The girls varsity team finished in 13th place. Elie Skalaban finished in 23rd place. Opal Lung, Jazlyn Villarreal, Jenna Hamm and Natalie Barrera rounded out the scoring for the varsity girls.

The Trojans compete in the AISD XC Invitational Meet on Friday morning. All runners will be running a 5K next week.
We had great support from all of our parents who attended the Lockhart meet and had a great time eating the BBQ from Black's BBQ. I want to thank Mrs. and Mr. Livaudais for organizing all of the the parents BBQ orders and many parents who helped clean up. Our cross country teams appreciate all of the parents who came to support the Trojans.

09/06 AISD XC Invitational:
The Anderson girls and boys cross country teams competed in the AISD/Decker Lake XC Meet on Friday morning against teams from Central Texas and five teams form District 25-6A from Central Texas. The meet offered a preview of teams that the Trojans will face in the District Championships in October. The meet offered a first glimpse of the junior varsity girls competing in their first 5K race for the 2019 season.
The girls varsity team finished in 6th place. Ellie Skalaban finished in 20th place, Opal Lung-22nd place and Lilian Jacobson-23rd place respectively. Jazlyn Villarreal, Jenna Hamm and Natalie Barrera rounded out the scoring for the varsity girls.
The varsity boys team finished in 7th place. 50 points separated 2nd place to 7th place in the varsity boys division. It should be an interesting race by the time the District Championships roll around. Liam Donohoe finished in 13th with a PR of 17:02. Matt Scheberle finished in 22nd place and Ben Kim-24th place. Tyler Martinez and Justin Morwood rounded out the scoring for the varsity boys team.
The junior varsity girls teams finished in 8th place. Abbey Stein medaled with a 4th place finish. Sydney Fulton overcame the heat to finish in 11th place, just being edged out for a medal. Audrey Long, Nardo Southwick and Andrea Rivera rounded out the scoring for the junior varsity girls.
The junior varsity boys finished in 7th place. Antonio Suarez finished in 19th place, Riley Fuller, Alex Brown, Nicolas Greiner-Guzman, and Connor Calkins rounded out the scoring for the junior varsity boys.

The Trojans compete in the Lago Vista Invitational Meet on Saturday, September 14th. Mr. & Mrs. Livaudais will be hosting our tailgate breakfast at the Lago Vista XC Meet. Come out to meet the parents and have a taco and a cup of coffee as our kids run in the hill country.

09/14 Lago Vista Meet:
The Anderson girls and boys cross country teams competed in the Lago Vista Invitational meet in Lago Vista, Texas on Saturday morning. The meet included teams from the Round Rock and hill country areas.
The girls varsity team finished in 5th place. The varsity girls have continued to improve at each meet. Ellie Skalaban medaled with a 10th place finish and Jazlyn Villarreal medaled with a 19th place finish. Liliam Jacobson finished in 22nd place. Opal Lung and Jenna Hamm and Gabby Levitt rounded out the scoring for the varsity girls.
The junior varsity girls teams finished in 7th place. Sydney Fulton's sprint at the finish line edged out out teammate Abbey Stein. Sydeny Fulton medaled with a 10th place finish and Abbey Stein medaled with an 11th place finish. Audrey Long, Caroline Chomel , Andrea Rivera and Nardo Southwick rounded out the scoring for the junior varsity girls.
The varsity boys entered the Lago Vista meet with several members of the team not participating due to injuries and other events that were scheduled at the same time. Antonio Suarez participated in his first varsity meet and did extremely well with a time of 19:50. Despite falling down during the meet, Liam Donohoe competed hard and finished with a time of 18:56. Justin Morwood, Chris Livaudais, Vinay Shankar and Reece Butler rounded out the scoring for the varsity boys team. The varsity boys shoulf be back to full strength and ready to go for the McNeil Invitational in two weeks.
The junior varsity boys finished in 6th place at the Lago Vista Meet. Despite a broken nose suffered in basketball practice, Riley fuller, pace the JV boys team with a 24th place finish. Brycen Craig and Robinson Dinh improved greatly in the meet. Roman Cleveland, Alex Brown and Connor Calkins rounded out the scoring for the Trojans.

The Trojans will be off this next weekend. They will not have a meet. The next scheduled meet is on Saturday, September 28th at Old Settler's Park. It will be the McNeil XC Invitational Meet.

09/28 McNeil Meet:
The Anderson girls and boys cross country teams competed against teams from across the state of Texas last week at Old Settler's Park in Round Rock Texas. Over 6,800 runners competed in all races.
The varsity boys team finished in 20th place in the varsity 6A division. Shea Donohoe and Liam Donohoe led the way for the Anderson Trojans. Matthew Scheberle, Justin Morwood and Tyler Martinez rounded out the scoring for the varsity boys team.
Elie Skalaban, Jazlyn Villarreal and Jenna Hamm competed in a crowded field in the varsity 6A division. The girls team did not qualify with a team score.
The junior varsity boys finished in 22nd place. Antonio Suarez, Robinson Dinh, Conner Calkins and Brycen Craig and Alex Brown were the top 5 finishers for the junior varsity boys.
Abbey Stein finished in 80th place in a field of girls that numbered over 600. Caroline Chomel, Audrey Long, Nardos Southwick, and Hayden Jones were among the top finishers for the JV girls team.
Congratulations to all of our cross country runners for a fine effort at the McNeil XC Invitational Meet under brutal conditions with heat and dust.
The cross country conclude the cross country season when they travel to compete in the Georgetown/Wast View XC Meet on Saturday, October 5, 2019.
The Trojans will prepare for the 25-6A Cross Country Championships that will be held on Tuesday, October 15th at Old Settler park in Round Rock, Texas.
Our opponents will be Bowie, Austin High, Akins, Ann Richards, Del Valle, Hays, Lehman, Lake Travis and Westlake.

10/05 Georgetown Meet:
The Anderson cross country teams competed in the Georgetown cross country meet on Saturday morning. Liam Donohoe led the varsity boys team with a 20th place finish and a PR time of 16 minutes and 54 seconds. Justin Morwood, Ben Kim, Robinson Dinh and Vinay Shankar rounded out the top five finishers in the varsity boys division
In the varsity girls division, Opal Lung, Lilian Jacobson and Jenna Hamm finished in the top 50 in the 5K run.
Connor Calkins, Brycen Craig, Hunt Harrell, Adrian Lee Vaca and George Tisdale led the team in scoring for the junior varsity boys division.
Sydney Fulton finished in 19th place and set a personal record with a time of 22 minutes and 51 seconds in the junior varsity girls division. Caroline Chomel, Andrea Rivera, Nardos Southwick and Audrey Long rounded out the top five scorers for the junior varsity girls team
The cross country teams will face off in the 25-6A Championships on October 15th. The district meet will be held at Old Settler's Park. Come out and support the Trojans as they compete for the District Championship and a spot in the regional cross country meet.

10/15 District 25-6A Meet:
The Anderson girls and boys cross country teams faced their 25-6A district opponents in the District Meet at Old Settler's Park on October 15th.
Liam Donohoe finished in 6th place with a time of 15:50 at the District Championships and qualified for the 6A Regional XC Meet at TAMUCC in Corpus Chrisit on October 28th. The varsity team of Liam Donohoe, Matthew Scheberle, Ben Kim, Tyler Martinez, Justin Morwood, Chris Livaudais and Vinay Shankar competed hard but came up short in their quest for qualifying for the regional meet.
Jazlyn finished in 25th place with a time of 21:04 at the District Meet. Ellie Skallaban finished with a time of 21:47. Opal Lun, Jenna Hamm, Lilian Jacobson and Natalie Barrera rounded out the scoring for the varsity girls. The junior varsity boys finished finished in 5th place overall. Antonio Suarez finished in 20th place, Robinson Dinh-24th place, Alex Brown-26th Place and Connor Calkins finished in 27th place. Nicolas Greiner-Guzman, Brycen Craig and Andrew Faulkner rounded out the top finishers in the JV division,
Sydney Fulton finished in 27th place in the junior varsity division at the District Championships Meet.
The 9th grade boys finished in 6th place at the District Meet. Riley Fuller finished in 22nd place in the 9th grade division. George Tisdale, Preston Myers, San Frieden, Rhett Franklin, Adrian LeeVaca and George Millard rounded out the top finishers in the 9th grade division.
Caroline Chomel finished in 20th place in the 9th grade girls divisin at the District Meet.
