ATHLETIC FACILITIES

 

Dolphin Athletics is continuing on the path of growth as we are attempting to serve the needs of our student athletes. As our campus grows tremendously, our athletic facilties are growing as well.

The Dinah E. Gore Fitness & Aquatics Center is the centerpiece of the Dolphin athletic facilities. The 55,000 square-foot complex built in 2009 houses the Gymnasium, Indoor Track, Natatorium, Fitness Center, Aerobics Studio, classroom space, and offices for coaches and faculty. In this state-of-the-art athletic facility our student athletes have the opportunity to develop and train in the preseason and postseason. The Dinah E. Gore Fitness & Aquatics Center is the largest activity building in Brunswick County, and is named after Dinah E. Gore, a long time supporter of Brunswick Community College.

As our athletic program continues to grow, we are expanding our facilities on campus and have added a baseball field in 2012. Our baseball team now plays all home events at Founders Field on the campus of Brunswick Community College.
